I started listening to WAY-FM in July last year. I don't know where I would be right now if I didn't listen to the encouragement you receive from 105.9. I love music...it's my passion. Now I found Christian music to be the only thing I listen to. I was at the point in my life where I felt I had nothing to live for. I was sexually active with guys because I wanted to feel loved. I smoked and went out partying every weekend just to hide the pain I felt. It seemed so easy to just give in to things that weren't healthy for me. I moved in August to get a fresh start. I attend church every week now and my kids are doing a lot better. Some people may question how a radio station can change your life. I just know I turned on the radio in July and did a scan. It took me to 105.9 and "City On Our Knees" by TobyMac was playing. I started listening and pulled my car to the side of the road as tears ran down my face. I knew it wasn't too late. Just like the song says, "Through the fog there is hope..." That day I will never forget. It was the day of a new beginning for me. My life has changed and I am so glad to finally wear a smile on my face every day. The most beautiful thing in life is hearing my kids praying to God and thanking Him for making their mommy a better mommy.

I would simply like to thank you guys for all the music you play. Because of you, the music helped me in my recovery with self harm and depression. January 2 was two years since my last cut. I'm 19, and was baptized in September because I was touched by the song, "The Last Night" by Skillet.

I want to say THANK YOU for having such an AWESOME Christian music station. I listen while I workout in the mornings, while I'm doing housework duties, cooking, or just running errands in my car! Blessed be the NAME OF THE LORD! Wally is GREAT.. keeps my spirits high even though some days are gray... :) My children love this station so much, they know about every song and they are 3 & 6!! It's great that we have a way to still have Christian Music within our homes and work places outside of a normal Wednesday evening or Sunday. I know you have reached out and touched our family and many more too. Thanks a bunch for spreading God's Word and touching the younger generation that may think (its uncool or that they are afraid to speak Gods word in school w/o getting in trouble).. Society is trying to take HIM out.. BUT "WE" are keeping HIM alive in our hearts and etc.. :) God Bless!

I'm 16 years old and have learned that being a Christian while going to a school full of worldly influence can be difficult. The "in" music, music I find myself tempted to listen to, contains crude content. It's such a relief to be able to turn on the radio and know the songs I love aren't full of demoralizing topics. I don't go a day without listening to WAY-FM. You all are making a bigger impact than you will ever know. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to experience God's glory through this station!

I was listening to Wally on Total Axxess recently - loved his commentary on more "mature topics" and loosing 5 Christian listeners, if it meant "saving" one person who finally found Christ because of talking about difficult topics. Way to go, Wally - and thanks WAY-FM for putting him on in the afternoons!

I have recently been released from a three year prison sentence. I found your radio station by accident one day in prison. The music that you play really stirs my heart. I shared with the other inmates and alot of them came to Christ because of your station. I too am saved now thanks to your radio station. Now that I am out, I have my wife and my two boys listening to your station. I just want to let you know that your station has really impacted the inmates in prison, my family and myself. Thank you, WAY-FM! P.S. Wally you stay strong because you were the first person I heard on this station and you just keep on doing what you do, because you really are reaching out and helping people come to Christ. God bless you, and WAY-FM!

I love your radio station. It gives out a positive message about Christ and reminds us all that it's all about Him and not about us. Thanks for everything you are doing, keep it up!

The WAY-FM radio stations in Louisville have helped me get back to my roots. I was raised in a Christian home and had a strong faith for most of my life. Nine years ago I strayed from that path and decided to go my own way. I became addicted to drugs, cigarettes and drinking. Many of my friends were people that most would not consider friends. I put myself in severe debt and in trouble with the law. I found myself in an abusive relationship that I had no will to get out of. Then one day God spoke to me. Not in a way that most would hear, but I was gifted the miracle of birth and motherhood. After a couple of months I got the courage and strength to leave that situation. I still struggled with my addictions after the birth of my daughter, but she gave me the will to live and to keep trying to do better. It has taken me eight years to get back to the path I started on but now I am here and am trying to set a good example for my daughter. I recently got married and now have a family of five. My husband has two children from a previous relationship as well. I guess you could say God sent us to each other to save each other. Through WAY-FM and our local church we are finally living the life we were meant to live and setting a good example for our children. The one thing that could make that better is having God's words here in writting to share with our children at home. I would like to say thanks to you and all that have a hand in the ministry for giving us this opportunity.

I'm [20] years old. [...] I recently found this station and it's helped to change my entire life. I started drinking and being around people who used drugs. My life wasnt going the way i wanted it to at all. [...] I've started to take charge and I've changed the people I hang out with. I don't drink anymore, or do drugs. [...] I've been listening to you all and my whole life is now turning around. I'm going to church Wed. night for the first time in 3 years and I'm excited about it. Thank you all for everything. This music gives me the courage and strength to get up every morning and not give in to my previous lifestyle.

We recently moved from the Louisville area and was missing good Christian radio. A friend in Florida told me about [WAY-FM] and I can now listen to you via the Internet. Being able to listen to Christian radio has really improved my mood and lightened the depression brought about by all the changes in our life right now. Thank you. Hopefully one day I will be able to support your ministry, but until then, know that I thank God for you!

I started listening to WAY-FM in June. Since then, I haven't listened to any other station on the radio. I love the music, and it's great that everything you play is "clean". I got some of my friends hooked on WAY-FM and we listen to it together sometimes. One song that we especially liked was "Hold" by Superchick!

I just rededicated my life to the Lord this past week, after having strayed away for years. My husband deserted me and my kids during the power outage, and I turned to God. I found this awesome radio station, looking for...well I wasnt quite sure. But I found it. And yes, a 41 year old mom of 3 teenagers still thinks the music is awesome!

It's great to have a local radio station that is truly reaching younger people, and even those of us in our 30s! Thanks for reaching out to the listeners with intent on helping us in our walk with the Lord - whatever level that is at! Keep the Skillet coming! :)

I went to a concert at my church, which is where i heard about WAY-FM... I tuned in and started listening, immediatley loving Christian music...whereas before I assumed it was all hymn sounding, and wasn't a big fan. I listen to almost nothing but Christian music now and it inspires me to be joyful everyday. I really like Wally and his "realness" as well.

I'm 12 and I was in a tough situation recently when I was mean and rude to everyone everywhere. One day, [...] I told my pastor something mean and rude, so that day after church my mom and my pastor and I had a talk about respect. My punishment was that I listen to [WAY-FM] instead of [other artists] who I enjoyed listening to. Ever since I have listened to [WAY-FM], I have not only been a better person, but I have been a believer and had God on my side!

Tonight [Wally] talked about a young lady dealing with "cutting". It made me think about similar burdens . . . similar issues more of us deal with. Cutters often describe their habit as a "desire to feel." At first, this seemed odd to me, but as I've come to know more teenagers and gained experience in current worldview/pop culture, I have made the connection to my own life. I'm 24, sometimes feeling disconnected to the 17 and 18-year olds I lead in small group sessions at my church, but in this subject, I've gained a common ground. You see, I used to fight to feel. The struggle, the punishment, the desire to push myself through pain just to feel alive . . . there is not much difference when you look at the root desire. I wanted to feel. I had a relationship with Christ as my personal Savior, but sometimes still chased my own purposes . . . and looked for my own fulfillment. It is important to re-examine your lifestyle, your focuses, your habits. We don't have to fight or cut ourselves to feel. Jesus paid our debts. He fought the fight for us, took the cuts for us. It is not our place to seek our own fulfillment, but to serve our God. In this we can all find true joy and feel alive. [...] Every person who struggles gains a future witness, a connection to someone who had the same struggle. Your strong faith and commitment to Christ through your troubles can lead someone else to Christ. What greater joy, what greater feeling is there than that?

Thanks to WAY-FM, I received free tickets to go to the Casting Crowns concert here in Louisville, KY. Because of this band, and WAY-FM getting me there, I [drew] closer to God, and I continue to listen to this inspirational radio station everyday!

God moves in ways only He knows why. I was struggling with work and life. There was a song that played by Kutless: Sea of faces. It made me know that God knows all my pain and has called me not to be like everyone else, but to stand tall and follow him regardless of the call. Through this station and how GOD is using it... Man, all I can say is let's move hearts of a generation...

I love WAY-FM! I have been listening for a over a month now. It's the only station I listen to. One day I was driving on Grant Line, noticed the sign and just thought it was an advertisement but then heard on the radio that they were having their Open House Bash in NEW ALBANY! I was so excited to know that they were now located in New Albany. What a great ministry to be in our town! Right away, I wanted to be connected and volunteer with this ministry. I have been blessed to be apart of the pledge drive and the open house. Thanks for allowing me be apart of everything. The crew at WAY-FM are AMAZING and I love 'em all. We are blessed to have WAY-FM in our community and I can't wait to see how God continues to bless this community with your ministry. LOVE YA GUYS!!!!

Today I contributed a monthly donation to the pledge drive. While I was giving [...] my whole body was shaking with God's presence. After hanging up I fell to my knees right there crying and praising God for the chance to support this radio station that has touched me in so many ways. I haven't been able to listen to anything else on the radio for weeks and it has brought so much peace to me and I just want my donation to bring this same peace to others. You guys are doing an amazing job!

I had been going through many struggles lately and found WAY-FM on the radio, and since then I've been telling all of my friends at school about WAY-FM. When I hear artists like Jimmy Needham, Britt Nicole, and The Almost, I turn up the radio and start singing so loud. Since I've been listening to it my little sisters that I take to school have learned the lyrics. I'm so proud and thankful to a have radio station in this area that reaches out to youth and young adults with such a positive influence. Now my sisters and I sing along with this uplifting and inspiring radio station and don't fill our ears with the worldly music played so often around this type of environment. Thank you for all you've done!

I happened upon WAY-FM by accident...or did I? I have a very large yard and I listen to the radio while I mow. Unfortunately I don't get a good reception from the two other Christian radio stations in the area when using my radio headset. I am forced to listen to country or classic rock. When I was getting ready to mow just the other day, my hand hit the tuner and accidentally caused the radio to pick up WAY-FM. I couldn't believe it, a radio station with only Contemporary Christian music and a positive message that wasn't full of static on my headset. I now listen to WAY-FM exclusively and it puts me in a great mood with all of the up-beat music and scriptures. Thanks for broadcasting in the Louisville area!

I wanted to let you know how much I praise God for this station. My family and I are going through a crisis right now. The day it all started I put my radio station on 104.3 FM and it has remained there. My children would listen to other stations in the car and they are now leaving it on Way-FM. You are ministring to our souls. God Bless You and May He Be Praised.

I just wanted to tell you that I love the new 104.3 in Louisville. I want to tell you a little story about my life. My little boy, almost 5 at the time, got diagnosed with Neuroblastoma (cancer) June of 2004. He finished treatment around May of 2005, then relapsed in November of 2005. He passed away May 3rd, 2006 at the age of 6 1/2. All during treatment he listened to Switchfoot (The Beautiful Letdown)...they were his FAVORITE band. We had the song, "Meant to Live", etched on the back of his monument. We had the honor of meeting Switchfoot in August at the fair. We got to tell them all about my special, little man. I just turned 104.3 on tonight, and within 30 minutes I heard 3 of their songs from that CD. I have been listening to it for about 2 hours and have heard about 5 of their songs. That means the world to me. Hearing those songs makes me feel so close to him. And with you all playing that many in a row, it had to be sent from my baby. You all totally rock. I am so glad to have another christian station to listen to, I do not listen to secular music. Please keep the Switchfoot coming. God Bless!
